Routine Maintenance On Main Hosting Cluster Resolved
Priority - High Affecting Server - Shared Server #1

Greetings our Valued Customers,

Please be informed that we will be carrying out some essential maintenance work to our main hosting cluster, which will involve migrating accounts to a new physical machine.

We have found that there are some unusual issues in relation to IO performance causing occasional CPU spikes. All of the disks within a physical server are absolutely fine, but could be more thoroughly checked using a system called 'fsck', however due to the large amount of storage capacity this will take a huge amount of time to run and would need to be done offline leading to several hours of downtime.

As such, to ensure that the service remains online with as little disruption as possible, we will migrate the accounts between the existing server over to a new physical machine.

The migration work will be carried out the evening of tomorrow (Friday 15th) and will continue throughout the night.

Small chunks of downtime may be expected, and the server will be taken offline once the migration has been completed.

Also, access to Dashboard and to our main Portal will be disrupted throughout the process.

The IP and network will remain the same as it is currently, so no action is required on your part.

We apologize for any inconvenience, and thanks a lot for your understanding.

Kind regards,

 - WevrLabs™ Technical Team
