This article explains how to add TXT records to your domain DNS using cPanel.

Note that all settings here assume the domain is using the default name servers. The name servers of your hosting plan can be found using this guide:

https://dash.wevrlabs.net/knowledgebase/4786/

If your domain is not using the default name servers (eg: is using Cloudflare), you will have to replicate whatever changes/additions you make in cPanel Zone Editor, again on the location where the domain DNS is hosted (eg: on Cloudflare DNS settings if the domain is using Cloudflare nameservers).

Add a TXT record in cPanel

1. Log in to cPanel.

For help accessing your cPanel see https://dash.wevrlabs.net/knowledgebase/2/How-to-access-cPanel.html.

2. Click Zone Editor

3. Click Manage for the domain you wish to add a TXT record to.

4. Click the arrow next to Add Record and select Add TXT Record

5. For Name, enter the domain itself, for example, example.com. or a subdomain for example, _dmarc.example.com. (however required) you’re creating the TXT record for. Enter the TXT Record you’ve been provided into the Record field and click Add Record.

click Add Record and our new DNS TXT record will now be added. However, please allow 48 hours for your DNS change to propagate worldwide and internet services providers DNS caches to clear.
